In the classroom, students choose from a variety of exciting and diverse courses, with topics ranging from diet to disease to DNA – and a whole lot more.

In the lab, the greenhouse, and the field, students put their knowledge to work to solve real problems and advance science. There are many opportunities for undergraduate students to join faculty research projects, where students learn a variety of basic and advanced research methods  – depending on their interests, they may learn anything from light and video microscopy to how to transfer genes into plants.
